Located at 1265 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226, HIROKI-SAN operates as a japanese serving Detroit in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Detroit, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 5β10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach HIROKI-SAN at (313) 597-8344; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, hirokisandetroit.com.

Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Detroit follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came here two years ago during a work trip and loved it so much that I made it a point to come back every time Iβm in town. This visit did not disappoint. The sushi platter was incredible, with each piece offering its own unique flavor and presentation. From chili oil and crispy toppings to fresh green onion garnishes, every piece had something different that made it stand out. Everything tasted fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared.

Some restaurants serve dinner. Others create a memory. From the moment we started the evening with a glass of bubbles, it felt like we were in for something special. Every course was beautifully presented, but more importantly, every bite was unforgettable. The ingredients spoke for themselves, the flavors were thoughtful and beautifully balanced, and each dish left us wondering how the next one could possibly top itβyet somehow it always did. A special thank you to Cristy, our server, who truly elevated the entire evening. She was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely engaged, guiding us through the menu with recommendations that weren't just thoughtfulβthey were exceptional. Every suggestion she made absolutely melted in our mouths, and her passion for the food made the experience feel personal from beginning to end. The service was polished without ever feeling pretentious, allowing the food to remain the star while making us feel completely taken care of. We left already talking about what we'd order on our next visit. If you're looking for an intimate dining experience with spectacular food and impeccable hospitality, Hiroki-San quietly exceeds every expectation. It wa

we were expecting something that was Japanese forward, but what we got was more Chinese flavors, which is not bad. it pricer than we thought too. likeeeeee lets be so real if you are Asian expecting Japanese, skip on this place. honestly, it felt more Chinese than Japanese. Plum sauce forward in the duck soba- black vinegar forward in the chawanmushi - grated ginger scallion sauce in the chicken thigh skewer alllllll chinese influenceeeee. eeeh like chirashi mightβve been skimping on sashimi. but service is great shout out Millie. you the best girlie.

Hiroki-San is a masterclass of a culinary experience. It is one of the best restaurants and meals I have ever had in my life, and I have been all over Japan, so that is saying something. I loved everything we ordered, but my favorite has to be the Tako-Age, it was the most tender Octopus I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Thank you to Nate for his hospitality and treating my party and I like family.
